CAS

Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS)

• CAS provides an envoronment for you to meet like-minded people. CAS provides a framework for experiential learning and  provides opportunities for students to develop self-confidence, empathy and a willingness to help others. 

• CAS encourages students to make connections and understand they are members of local and global communities, with responsibilities towards each other and the environment. 

• CAS enables students to demonstrate attributes of the IB learner profile in real and practical ways.  Students develop skills and attitudes through a variety of individual and group experiences that provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, express their passions and identify goals. 

• CAS complements a challenging academic school life, providing a much needed break from academia.

We encourage students to make connections between their chosen CAS activities and their personal wellbeing.  Examples of wellbeing and CAS include: 

• Forming new social connections with others who share a passion or hobby

• Developing or persuing an interest outside of the traditional curriculum

• Taking pride in mastering a skill or craft

• Improving physical fitness and social connections through team sports
