2025 Registration Timeline:
March 3-7th: Parent portal is open to view and verify selected courses.
March 14th: Last day for parents/students to request changes to their selection in writing to their counselor. Please use this request link to request changes after February 28th.
For 5th and 6th grade students and families,
Texas Senate Bill 9 requires Texas schools to provide education for our students on personal safety and violence prevention. Alliance for Children will be returning to our campus on March 7th to teach two different lessons depending on your student’s grade. 6th Graders will be receiving Teen Safety Lesson 2 that you can learn more about HERE. 5th Graders will be receiving P.S. It’s My Body that you can learn more about HERE. Students need to have been opted-in to this lesson during enrollment to participate. If you are opted out of this lesson, you will receive a confirmation of your opt-out by Wednesday, February 26th with an opportunity to reverse that decision. Our counseling department respects all families’ choices on if they want their child to participate, so please do not hesitate to reach out to your grade level counselor to become more informed or share a concern.

We’d love for you to join us on Monday, March 10th, to support our 6th-grade Treble and Tenor Choir students! They’ll be showcasing their hard work in an open rehearsal/concert from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the BCI big gym. Limitless, the BCIs Show Choir, wrapped up their composition season last night with an incredible performance, taking home awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and Grand Champions! With this remarkable achievement, they are officially undefeated this season. Limitless, you truly live up to your name!

We are excited to invite you to join us for The Big Event, Keller ISD’s day of service, on Saturday, April 12th, from 9:00-11:00 AM! This special day is an opportunity for Bear Creek to come together and give back to the community that supports us every day.
Our goals are to show gratitude, strengthen connections, and make a meaningful impact. Each service project reflects the unique character of each campus, but we all share a common goal: to say thank you to those who make our community such an incredible place.
This year, Bear Creek has two wonderful projects. First, we have partnered with Keller’s Parks and Rec department to clean up a small patch of trail that stretches from Keller Pointe to the Park off Keller Smithfield. We would love for you to be part of this effort! We’ve also teamed up with Keller Humane Society to hold a donation drive! Check out what they are needing in the How You Can Help Below!

Join us on the day of the event – Bring your family and friends to lend a helping hand!
Spread the word – Encourage neighbors, extended family, and local businesses to participate.
Donate supplies – Dawn Dish Soap, Treats, Pill Pockets, Towels, Blankets and animal toys (Students and Families can send donations in to BCI prior to April 12th by dropping it off at our Donation Station)!
Together, we can make a difference and show our appreciation for the amazing community we call home. Let’s make this year’s Big Event the best one yet!

Dear BCI parents,
It’s that time of year…….puberty video viewing time!
On Friday, March 14th, 5th and 6th grade students will be watching the puberty videos linked below. I have attached links for each video below for you to view. It may be helpful to watch this video in advance with your student to answer any questions they may not want to ask at school. Boys and girls will view the films separately during their co-curr time.
The REQUIRED PERMISSION FORM must be completed and turned in to your student’s homeroom teacher by Wednesday, March 12th. If the permission form is not signed and returned, your student will not be able to view the video.
If you choose for your student to opt out of watching the video, they will be allowed to go to the library during this time.

Thank you for dropping off your student(s) in the student loop using Phillips Dr. between 7:15 am and 7:45 am. If it is past 7:45 your student will need to be dropped off in the front office to obtain a tardy pass for class.
The front entrance of the school is reserved for carpooling students of 3 or more who attend BCI.
As a reminder, for the safety of our students and staff, no cell phone use is allowed, the speed limit is 10 mph on school property, and 20 mph in School Zones.
Parents are allowed to have lunch with their student in the vestibule or in the atriums.
We encourage you to review the map for drop off and pick up expectations. Our focus is for safety for all. The easiest piece of advice is to follow our staff's instructions in our drop off/pick up lanes. If they need you to pull up, please follow this procedure; otherwise, you will be backing up the lanes for drop off which can cause students to be tardy or not being aware of safety concerns as they pertain to our crosswalks. Thank you in advance!

To improve the communication of menu changes Sodexo has launched new and improved online menus for Keller ISD through Nutrislice at https://kellerisd.nutrislice.com/menus-eula .
This change will provide students, staff and families the most up-to-date printable and digital menus that are reflective of any changes that need to be made to the menus.

Keller ISD is proud to have Texas Central School Bus as the District’s transportation provider! TCSB has a fleet of 243 buses and provides transportation to over 7,500 students across the District.
KISD is required to provide bus service to eligible students who live more than two miles from their campus of regular attendance and for special needs students who require transportation to attend school.
