Hello delegates and student officers! Welcome to LINMUN VII!

My name is Sophia Chen, a junior from Kaohsiung American School, and it is my utmost honor to serve as one of the Deputy Secretary-General for this year's LINMUN. Aside from MUN, I enjoy watching F1, tennis, and sometimes soccer.

MUN has played a significant role in my life; it isn't just about drafting resolutions, making speeches, and arguing in debate; it’s also where you build friendships, meet new people with the same passion, and gain new things along the way, discovering your identity. Whether LINMUN is your first conference or one of many, I hope you will leave with more than just a stronger understanding of MUN. I hope you find something that makes you want to keep coming back, whether that is a new perspective, a new friendship, or simply a greater confidence in making your voice heard.

Feel free to reach out to me via email (yanche28@kas.tw) or through Instagram (@7.phi4_). Looking forward to seeing you all in January!
