My name is Crystal Chen, and I am currently a junior at Taipei Wego Private Senior High School. LINMUN VII will be my twelfth conference and my sixth time chairing. 

When I first encountered Model United Nations in high school, I never imagined that it would leave such a huge impact on me. To me, MUN is neither simply a hobby outside of school nor merely an activity for my college applications. Rather, I found myself sincerely enjoying the moment spent with other delegates and deeply cherishing all the friendships I built along the way. I hope that the same passion MUN has bought me can also inspire all of you as you participate in LINMUN. 

Outside of MUN, I enjoy playing golf, hanging out with my friends, and discovering hidden gems around Taipei. I am also a huge fan of K-dramas and C-dramas, so feel free to share your favs with me! Greetings! I’m Abigail Chang, a junior from Wego Private Senior High School. It’s my greatest honor to have all of you in the committee and to chair with Crystal. 

My MUN journey started in my freshman year of high school. At first, I did not enjoy it at all. However, after joining my very first MUN conference, I found the fun and interest in Model UN. MUN helped me make lots of new friends and meet many cool people from every background. My very first conference was Yalemun 2025. 

When I stepped inside the room, I saw people from all over the world, and most of them were really competitive and well-prepared (ofc I’m not one of them). I was so shocked that high school students can have the ability and bravery to go up to the podium and speak up their opinion or solution to solve the ongoing issue. After the conference, I set up a goal for myself that I want to become the same person as them, have the guts to share my stance, and put my effort into drafting a practical resolution. After all, I’ve already attended over 10 conferences, growing as a delegate and a chair at the same time. 

Besides MUN, I also enjoy playing tennis and reading books (especially history books) in my spare time.
