LINMUN pursues inclusiveness by bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to address global issues. For LINMUN, inclusiveness means creating an environment where all participants, regardless of their experience level, socio-economic status, or cultural background, have equal opportunities to engage in productive debates, share their perspectives, and develop leadership skills.

Diplomacy

LINMUN reflects on the diplomacy that drove the creation of the United Nations in 1945. Our conference exemplifies true diplomatic spirit by demonstrating mutual respect, fostering constructive dialogue, and navigating negotiations with grace and effectiveness. “Dialogue, diplomacy, and multilateral solutions provide the surest path to a peaceful and just world” (Guterres 2024).

Empowerment

LINMUN provides delegates an opportunity to develop their self-confidence by expressing their ideas and opinions in a supportive environment. Our conference cultivates a welcoming and productive atmosphere where delegates actively listen to each other, think critically about the issues at hand, and respond thoughtfully to others’ perspectives with mutually beneficial solutions.
