Each year Mid-Essex CA work closely with the Essex County Council NCS team to encourage and inspire our pupils to take part in this invaluable opportunity.
NCS is a summer youth programme unlike any other! Some say it's a "life changing experience".
Designed for 16 and 17 year olds, the NCS experience will give you a clearer idea of what you want from your future. It will help you to realise your true potential and reach your goals.
The experience is all about giving you the buzz of being an adult (without all the responsibilities). On NCS you live away from home (for a very short time) and get a taste for independence. You will have the chance to meet new young people or you could even sign up together with your friends and take on exciting challenges together. The experience will help you to develop skills that will set you up for life after school.
