In Hong Kong, KanHan has installed over 300 Drupal to support Website, Intranet, Learning Management and other applications since 2012. Two brand new thematic sites have just been launched. First on the rich fisheries resources in Hong Kong waters and second on Hong Kong Geo Parks. Empathy is our core design process, our team took much pleasure in visiting the Geo Parks with firsthand experience on their unique geological heritage and natural beauty.

Those journeys allowed us to put into the stakeholders' shoes to empathize with their perspectives and opinion such that our first proposed design already captured the essence of what they had in mind.

It probably sets a record for an HKSAR Government App to be ready from scratch in less than 3 months for IOS, Android, and Harmony (Huawei) mobile phones. Big congratulations to our team for making the impossible possible.

“GREEN$ Mobile App” is officially released by the Environmental Protection Department. Its primary function is to facilitate the public to participate in the GREEN$ Electronic Participation Incentive Scheme. Members earn GREEN$ to redeem gifts when submitting recyclables at designated GREEN@COMMUNITY locations.

Gift redemption sounds simple. In fact, the App together with its big data backend will form the backbone digitally transforming Hong Kong's recycling strategies. The App will interact with the recycling IoT (internet of things) such as Smart Bin, Gift Redemption Machine and even Weighing Scale to collect and store all recycling data. The big data will be monitored and analyzed to fine-tune the recycling strategies for Hong Kong to be a better place.
