Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
In 2018, Kalianna School was fortunate enough to receive state government funding that enabled us to introduce an Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program to our students and their families. This program is professionally managed by Lifely, an organisation that operates on-site at Kalianna. Thanks to government funding, families can take advantage of this program free of charge.
The OSHC program runs each school day from 3 pm to 6 pm, and during school holidays, except for public holidays, it runs from 8 am to 6 pm. While the program is hosted at Kalianna, it is operated by Lifely, which means that the two entities are separate businesses. However, we do have an onsite manager who collaborates between Kalianna and Lifely to ensure smooth program operations.
To participate in the OSHC program, students must be enrolled with Lifely and attend Kalianna. The enrolment process takes approximately 2-4 weeks and involves completing an online enrolment form, an in-person meeting with the Educational Leader, and a student observation. Once enrolled, families can make bookings and access the 'MyXplor' booking system.
If you require further information about the OSHC program, please don't hesitate to contact Sally Bush, on 03 5442 1311 our the OSHC Program Manager or Lifely on 0447 179 418.
