State Schools Relief
State Schools' Relief is a charitable organisation that operates in Victoria, Australia, with the primary aim of providing financial assistance to government school students for their uniform and footwear needs. We understand that some families may face financial difficulties in meeting the costs of appropriate uniforms for their children, which can impact their ability to participate fully in school life.
At State Schools' Relief, they treat all requests for assistance with compassion and respect, ensuring that they are handled confidentially. They offer support in the form of clothing or footwear, which is either sent from their own supply to the school at no cost, or the student can be authorised to purchase from their school shop or supplier on a co-payment basis.
Eligibility for State Schools' Relief support is open to any student attending a Victorian Government School, and schools can submit applications to them when we identify a student in need. They understand that these situations may arise due to various reasons such as health issues, natural disasters, house fires, independent living, homelessness, or financial difficulties.
If you are a parent or caregiver who needs assistance with uniform costs for your child, please feel free to visit our office to apply for State Schools’ Relief support. We are here to help ensure that every student can participate fully in school life, regardless of their financial circumstances.
