Want to Join a Sport or Activity?
Get Your Golden Ticket!
District Policy states that all students must receive a 'Golden Ticket' before participating in Tryouts or Practices. North Pole High School has implented the policy for all sports and activities.
In order to get a golden ticket and participate you must complete and get checked off by:
create a parent and student Arbiter account and complete registration: Mr. Hollett
Pay all past fees (Previous Sports, Classes, Books Etc): Mrs. Ward or Mrs. Lehman
Check for Eligibility: Previous Semester Grades and Credits Check: Mr. Oppe
If Alternative Ed: Complete Alternative Ed packet (BEST student): Mrs. Ward
Once you have completed those steps, you will get your Golden Ticket from the front office, present Golden Ticket to your Coach, and you are cleared to begin participating!
Big Teams
If You Haven't Created an Arbiter Account:
create an Arbiter account
student and parents signs all required athletic or activity forms
Upload a current physical (good for 18 months)
Already Created an Arbiter Accoutn:
student & parent log into Arbiter and sign forms for the current year
Transfer Students
provide an up to date transcript from your previous school
complete the transfer waiver in Arbiter
Home School Students
If you are home schooled during the school year, you will need to provide the following BEFORE trying out:
High School Activities Alternative Education Enrollment Form
schedule of courses currently enrolled in
current transcript
immunization record
ONLY students in the NPHS attendance area may participate in sports at NPHS unless you have played a sport at NPHS before.
Home school students will be charged a $250 fee per activity for the 2026-27 school year. This fee DOES NOT apply to BEST or IDEA home school students.
