Attendance & Eligibility

In general, to be eligible to participate in activities each day, a students must:

• be in attendance for all classes on the day of participation or the most recent school day (unless an absence has been excused 24 hours in advance; see Power School attendance codes above)

• not be suspended (in school or out of school) on the day of participation

In order to be eligible to miss class for an activity students must be passing all classes.  This includes early dismissal for activities and travel.  Grade checks for travel are usually done the Friday before the trip.  The deadline to show passing grades is either 2:00PM the last school day before travel or 2:00PM the last school day before airline tickets are booked.
