If a student is injured while participating in a school sponsored activity, it is the coach's responsibility to report the injury to the school in a timely manner. The coach (or trainer, if one is present) must fill out and submit a student injury report to the school (for activities taking place during the school year), or to FNSB Risk Management (for activities taking place outside of the school year).
Any suspected concussion must be reported to risk management. Parents must also be provided with the district's parent letter regarding concussions and Medical Release For Student Athlete With Suspected or Actual Concussion.
