North Pole High School BASEBALL TRYOUTS

 DATES:

Tryouts: March 16 – 18 (No practice on March 19)

Practices Before Tryouts:

March 4 – March 5

Spring Break Practices:

(Not mandatory) March 9 – March 14

Parent Meeting:

March 20 (Time TBD)

 TIME  

Tryouts:

• March 16: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• March 17: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• March 18: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Practices Before Tryouts:

• March 4: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

• March 5: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Spring Break Practices:

6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

 LOCATION  

• North Pole High School Baseball Gym

• Eielson AFB – Baker Field House (TBD)
  Likely after tryouts. Parents and students without base access must be placed on an EAL.

 WHO CAN TRY OUT?  

• All North Pole High School students grades 9–12

• No prior baseball experience required

• Must meet school academic eligibility requirements

• UPDATED BigTeams account REQUIRED to try out and play

 WHAT TO BRING  

• Baseball glove

• Cleats (no metal spikes if indoors)

• Bat & helmet (if available)

• Athletic clothing & water bottle

 IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REMINDER

To participate, students MUST have an up-to-date BigTeams account, including:

• Current physical form

• Parent/guardian consent

• All required athletic paperwork

 Students without a completed BigTeams profile will NOT be allowed to participate

Athletes must have a Golden Ticket to participate or try out for a spring sport. We encourage families to complete all requirements during parent-teacher conferences to avoid last-minute delays. Coaches must collect Golden Ticketsfrom each athlete before allowing them to practice or try out.
