Fees & Eligibility for NPHS Activities
Welcome to NPHS Activities. Since our school opened in 1976 we have been able to offer a wide variety of sports and activities. Check out the Athletic Teams and Activities links at the top of this page for information on our current teams, clubs, and other activities.
Fees for our sports and activities are determined based on anticipated season costs. Participation fees may be paid in person at the school or using the school district's online payment system. Payment plans are available with approval of school administration, and most teams have fundraising opportunities available to help offset participation fees.

In general, to be eligible to participate in activities students must:
have earned 2.5 credits the previous semester (excluding 1st semester freshmen; 2nd semester seniors on track to graduate must have earned 2.0 credits 1st semester)
have a minimum 2.0 GPA with no more than one F in the most recent grading period
complete all required forms (see the home page on this site)
be in attendance for all classes on the day of participation or the most recent school day (unless an absence has been excused 24 hours in advance)
not be suspended (in school or out of school) on the day of participation
In order to be eligible to miss class for an activity students must be passing all classes. This includes early dismissal for activities and travel. Grade checks for travel are usually done the Friday before the trip. The deadline to show passing grades is either 2:00PM the last school day before travel or 2:00PM the last school day before airline tickets are booked.
