Reflection:
I attended the GenCyber Camp in the Summer of 2016, 2018 and 2019. In 2018, I began my journey as a Computer teacher K-12. So, this provided an opportunity to learn more about cyber security and how these principles could be introduced into the classroom. This 5 day on campus class was packed with exciting sessions that kept me engaged the whole time that I was there.
Areas of learning:
networking activity
soldering
coding in python
code a Raspberry Pi
build electric circuits

escaped from an escape room
introduced to a presentation tool called Nearpod
introduced to Chasing Einstein
digital forensics
gps locating
software defined radios
How I Will Use This in my Professional Career:
I learned about the importance of Cybersecurity and the need for me to include this in my curriculum in the K12 school system.
