Reflection:
This course was taken online in the Summer of 2020 through USD with Dr. Mourlam. It was a very fast paced course lasting only 4 weeks. Three Books were utilized for reading throughout the course. We began this class learning and reflecting on TRAL-technology-rich active learning. Then we took an in depth look at the TPACK framework. TPACK stands for technological, content, and pedagogical knowledge which works together to create successful lessons for our students. We also discussed how to establish such learning environments and experiences. A big portion of this class was discussing and learning about Gold Standard Project Based Learning. As a final project, I worked to create a PBL unit for my students. This class relied heavily on group collaboration by utilizing the discussion board. Groups were assigned and we were to respond individually to Discussion Posts with connections to the text we were reading and then respond to each member of the group's response by incorporating quotations from the three textbooks we were reading. Feedback and Critique was provided for my PBL unit from the Professor and my cohorts. This feedback was used to revise my final PBL unit.
