CET 741: Learning Sciences in Online Education- Spring 2025- 3 credits
Course Description: This course explores the dynamic intersection of instructional design, educational technology, and pedagogy. Students gain mastery in crafting effective, technology-enhanced learning experiences. Covering the latest frameworks and methodologies, the course equips students with skills to design, implement, and assess educational technology solutions that align with pedagogical principles, fostering meaningful learning.
Key Takeaways: The most important thing that I learned in this class is that there are many factors that play into effective instruction. Instructional design or how visuals are displayed are important but so are teaching frameworks and pedagogy. All of these factors are cohesive with planning and implementing effective instruction.
Artifact: Unit Plan
The final project in CET 741 was to create a learning experience that incorporates intentional technology use while using instructional design techniques. This slide deck uses these criteria to simplify and explain the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) Process.
