I grew up in Dante, South Dakota, and graduated from Wagner High School in 2017. During the summer of 2017, I attended the Crazy Horse Memorial Summer Program, where I jump-started my collegiate studies in the Black Hills. From there, I attended the University of South Dakota (Go Yotes!) in Vermillion. I graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am in my fifth year of teaching. I am currently teaching 7th-grade English Language Arts and Social Studies in Harrisburg, South Dakota. I am currently enrolled in the MSET program to learn more about the technology that is continuing to change and shape our world.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs. I am fortunate to also have the opportunity to be an active member of my community's volunteer fire department.
