About Me:
My name is Zachery Millan, and I am a Seattle native, but I have been in Hawaii for almost 10 years. I got my undergrad from the University of Washington and graduated from the University of Hawaii in Spring 2024 with a Master's in education. Even though my degree is in secondary social studies, I have a passion for special education and became SPED-qualified this summer (2024). I started substitute teaching in 2021, which led to a position teaching elementary P.E., which led to a position as a PPT in a SPED classroom while I was in school. My teaching philosophy is that we, as educators, must support the whole child before learning occurs. I like to fish, spearfish, and work on music with friends in my free time.
