Course Expectations:

• Students will be on-time and ready to participate. They will also be respectful and to support and encourage one another in a positive environment. They will listen intently during rehearsals, performances and discussions.

How to Check Student Progress:

• Progress on each student will be done through playing and written assessments as well as attendance to all rehearsals and performances.

About Me:

• I have been the music director here at Roosevelt High School for 41 years and graduated from the University of Hawai'i with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Music Education. I have done additional studies at Mansfield State College, Vandercook University and Brigham Young University-Laie. I have been in the Field Services Program at the University of Hawai'i as a student teacher supervisor since 1993.
