What is the CTE Honors Recognition Certificate?
The Trojan CTE program at Mililani High School is proud of the accomplishments of our students, teachers, and programs.
One area in particular to note is our consistently high percent of CTE students attaining CTE Honors Recognition Certificate from the Hawaii Board of Education.
CTE Honors Recognition Certificate Requirements
In addition to meeting the requirements for the Hawaii High School Diploma, a students qualifies for a honors recognition certificate if meeeting the requirements below.
Attain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Earn a B or better in each required program of study class (CTE 2-course minimum sequence)
Meet or exceed proficiency on performance-based assessments for corresponding program of study

What is a CTE Completer Cord?
Students who successfully meet the completer cord requirements below will be recognized for the accomplishment at graduation with a CTE Pathway Completer Cord.
This recognition is something that the students can proudly display as they receive their diploma, as well as a valuable award they can highlight on their resumes and college applications.
CTE Pathway Completer Cord Recognition Requirements
The CTE Pathway Completer Cord is awarded by Mililani High School for those CTE students that meet the following requirements:
Take a minimum of two CTE courses in the correct sequence according to the MHS CTE Programs of Study (see above).
Passing grade of "D" or higher in each of the two POS courses.
