Learning Targets: This week, we will continue our study of the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament. We will do this by looking at Isaiah and how he predicted the coming of Jesus Christ.

This week in science we will continue our unit on Diversity of Life. After a heavy week of microscope use, this week we will be learning our last of 8 characteristics of life. We will still use the microscope for some exploration, but will largely rely on in-class videos and visual representations to learn our last characteristic. If we make it through all our note sheets, our project will be introduced at the end of the week (more info to come).

Social Studies: We will begin our study of the Aztec civilization by discussing their rapid rise and their equally rapid fall. We will then look at some the technological advancements of the Maya civilization and some possible reasons for their fall as well.
