What we're learning & doing in class: This week we will be continuing in our unit about the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. We will continue by studying the shepherds, angels, and wisemen.

Reading/Writing: This week we will be writing a short compare-and-contrast informational essay on plants and animal cells. Then, we will begin a short unit reading an informational text about the sun.

Homework:

Independently read for 20 mins at home (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Assessment:

Compare/contrast paper due by end of day Tuesday

Band/Music

Band: This week we will be starting our new song Jester Dance! We will be diving back into the TOE book and improving our fundamentals!

Tuesday: 1st wave percussion; 2nd wave trumpets
Thursday: Full Band with instruments
