Our Cabinetry, Millwork, & Woodworking pathway provides students with the opportunity to develop their skills in woodworking and basic construction. From designing and fabricating furniture
to working with power tools, students gain practical skills that will prepare them for a variety of careers in the trades while teaching them to problem solve using creativity and design.
This course offers a variety of exploratory experiences in cabinet making, wood fishing and turning, students learn the correct and safe usage of tools, machines, materials, and processes. Emphasis is placed on good design and craftsmanship; classroom instruction includes both general and technical information while career pathways are also explored.
