Eagle Invitation
VOLUNTEERS:
The Eagle Invitational is a two day (Friday and Saturday) Varsity tournament hosted at Dakota Ridge, typically at the end of October. Each non-Varsity player will have a 2-3 hour shift on BOTH of those days. Adults will be required to work a 2-3 hour shift on either a Friday or Saturday. Each family will also need to provide part of a potluck meal for the Coaches and Referees. This item will also be assigned to each family, and should not exceed $10.00. Boosters will probably utilize a Signup Genius and then will assign remaining slots. Varsity families must provide a food item, but will not be assigned a shift to work. Adult participation AT this event AND providing assigned food items is required.
If your family has multiple adults that are willing to volunteer for this event, or if you are willing to work multiple shifts, it would be extremely appreciated. As we do not use Varsity families for this event, we begin to run thin on volunteers. Please email us if you can help in an additional capacity for this event.
Additionally, if you are able to work Friday afternoon (beginning at approximately 2:00 pm) please let us know. It's difficult to know who is available and who is not during the working day.
TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 2-3 hours on either a Friday or Saturday.
COMMITTEE CHAIR:
The chair of this event will be responsible for assigning the volunteer duties. He or she will assign families and players to necessary positions, including Libero tracking (players only), Score Keeping (players only), Line Judging, monitoring the Hospitality Room, etc. They will also determine what food needs to be provided, and who will bring those items. Additional volunteers may be needed to help plan this event before the actual event. This is a very intense position, and will require a significant time commitment.
