Announcements! End of Season

As we conclude our amazing season, here's some quick recaps:

-Dakota Ridge beats Legacy and Chatfield to advance out of Regionals to the CHSAA 5A State Playoffs (1st time in school history!)

-Whitney Dewicki: 2nd Team All-State, Jeffco 5A MVP, Jeffco 5A Offensive MVP, Jeffco 5A 1st Team All Conference, +1000 Career Kills

-Sienna Reser: Honorable Mention All State, Jeffco 5A Defensive MVP, Jeffco 5A 1st Team All Conference

-Olivia Phillips: Jeffco 5A 2nd Team All Conference

-Madie LaGrange: Jeffco 5A Honorable Mention All Conference

-Bayley Distel: Jeffco 5A Honorable Mention All Conference

-Matt Zeman: Jeffco 5A Coach of the Year

Announcements!

We’re getting close to the start of our official season! Please review the important reminders and upcoming schedule below to make sure your athlete is fully prepared.

Physicals & Eligibility – Action Required!

To participate in any practices, tryouts, or camps, your athlete must be cleared through the athletic office.
Here’s what’s required:

• A current sports physical using the official CHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Form (no other form accepted)
  
  

  • Physicals are valid for 12 months from the date listed on the form
    
    

  • Proof of medical insurance coverage
    
    

  • Athletes must meet CHSAA standards for grades, attendance, and behavior
    
    

• Only registered and approved athletes may attend tryouts or practice; here is the new DRHS link.
  
  

📅 Upcoming Volleyball Schedule

• Team Camp:
  August 4–7 6:00-9:00 pm
  Parents must register their athlete HERE
  
  

• Tryouts:
  Monday & Tuesday, August 11–12, 5:00-9:00 pm

  • Athletes can be sent home at any time

  • Athletes must be cleared to try out; NO EXCEPTIONS

• Wednesday, August 13, 6:00–7:00 PM Player & Parent Meeting (for all athletes who make a team, players stay for team bonding until 11:00 pm):
  Location: Dakota Ridge Library

• Team Practices:
  August 14 & 15, 3:30-6:00 pm – All teams
  
  

• Scrimmages – Saturday, August 16, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

  • Varsity & JV at Arapahoe High School

  • LV3 & LV4 hosted at Dakota Ridge High School
