For teachers arriving from outside Italy or from Italy outside Piedmont
On your day of arrival, if you have not got your own car, you will be met at the airport/train station by a driver who will accompany you to your accommodation or temporary accommodation arranged by the school*.
Whenever possible at your temporary accommodation you will find a welcome package which will contain a SIM card for your phone, maps and city guides, and school information. Alternatively, you will receive these items on your first day at school.
New teachers' arrivals, in particular for non-EU passport holders, are scheduled by and with the school either by mid-July, before school closes for the summer break, or on the week-end of August, right before school re-opens after the summer break.
If needed, temporary accommodation for a maximum of one week (this may be extended in case quarantine is needed at the time of your arrival) can be provided upon arrival at a self-catering accommodation chosen by the school in Turin.
(Please note: temporary accommodation arranged by the school is mandatory for non-EU citizens, having to go through immigration as they need to stay at a registered and certified accommodation upon arrival)
If EU passport holders have secured their own apartments before arriving in Italy, and will not need temporary accommodation, or need it just for a few nights, please let us know.
A calendar and logistics details of the orientation weeks will be provided before the beginning of the new school year activities.
Please note: should the COVID-19 situation force us to change any of the above-described arrangements, the school will inform you as soon as possible.
