As part of the IST faculty and community, you always have someone you can go to if you have questions or doubts about your academics, behavior, health and safety, contract, facilities, equipment, and school organization.
The Head of School, Principals, Programmes Coordinators, Union representatives, Staff, and Faculty Representatives, Child Protection Officer and Team, Operations Manager, HR, School Nurse, Administration, and Support Staff are there to listen to you and help you the best they can.
It is important that each specific issue is dealt with by the proper person/department.
The school has several communication tools set in place such as the Hub, where you can find, on a daily basis, all the updates about school life, as well as forms, documents, etc. In addition to that, weekly email updates, the school e-magazine Connect, and the Wednesday meetings are there to make sure you know what is going on in the IST community.
The National Contract and the School Internal Contract, as well as the Faculty Handbook and Position Descriptions, Professional Development Policy, Child Protection Materials, as well as plenty of other school documents, are made available to everyone. It is essential that you know where they are, read them regularly, and check them for updates.
