ORIENTATION INFORMATION

A detailed calendar for the two weeks of orientation will be provided to you prior to your arrival. These two orientation weeks are pretty intense but will introduce you to the different aspects of school life, administration, paperwork, Italian laws and regulations, your devices, classroom management, emergency situations management, etc.

Orientation will include, besides all aspects regarding paperwork for immigration and residency applications:

• Child Protection Training

• Safety and Security Training

• GDPR ( European Data Protection Regulations) training

• IT training

• Managebac and OpenApply training

• PYP/MYP/IBDP Departments meetings

• Administration activities presentation

• Medical Information (how to get assistance, how to get a doctor, national health system coverage, additional private medical insurance, etc)

• School procedures and policies

• Payments and reimbursements, Getting residency and documents, Q&A

• Fire Drill procedures

• Classrooms set up
