Level 2 Philosophy
Our goal is to build off from the knowledge base from Level 1 and get our students moving, working together, strategizing, and furthering a love for lifetime activity. Classes will be moving faster with an emphasis on some of the advanced details of sports, fitness activities, and outdoor activities.
Curriculum Focus
As Level 1 focuses on more on the teaching and knowledge aspects, we will focus more on the application part of our subject area.
Units
Fitness concepts - having the ability to use a fitness facility, set goals,and create a program to accomplish your goals
Racket sports - Developing an appreciation for lifelong racket sports
Recreational games - Developing a love for different types of lifelong games
Team sports - Looking at different strategies to be successful and different skills to be a good teammate
Make- Up Policy
Absents and medicals must be made up. Only extended absences and medicals will be allowed to do written work.
Option 1. - Come in after school - 30 minute workout in weight room (sheet signed) Come in during study hall - Check with teacher first.
Option 2 - Extended - 2 weeks or more - google classroom or other written work requiring students to demonstrate knowledge of different units, fitness concepts, or health issues.
