LAS 100

LAS 100: Success in LAS for International Students is a required course designed for incoming international students. The course supports international students as they transition to a new culture and education system.

LAS 100 serves as a complement to LAS 101/102/122 (for all LAS incoming students). Therefore, students new (or relatively new) to the U.S. higher education system should enroll in both LAS 100 and LAS 101/102/122.

2 credit hours. Meets weekly the first eight weeks of the semester. Restricted to new LAS international students.

All incoming international students must register for LAS 100 unless they meet the criteria outlines in the exemption policy below.

LAS 100 Exemption Policy

International students who have successfully completed their entire high school career in the United States are exempt from enrolling in the course. Successful completion is demonstrated by enrollment from first to senior year and graduation from the attended high school. Students seeking exemption must submit this form to their advisor with an attachment that confirms graduation from a high school located in the United States.
