Financial Aid + Student billing
General information to share with students:
Students with questions regarding how their financial aid applies to study abroad should contact OSFA directly. You can share the following resource links with students:

Important financial aid policies:
Students must be registered for a minimum of 6 credits over the summer (abroad) in order to qualify for financial aid. Students who receive a Pell Grant are eligibile to receive more funding if they are enrolled in 9-11 hours versus 6-8 hours. Students also receive more university grant funding as well, however, this varies from year to year and is not always guaranteed. Pell Grant is guaranteed for eligible students each summer.
Students are NOT eligible for financial aid if their degree requirements are complete. Sometimes students want to extend their graduation to study abroad. This is fine, but they should be aware that financial aid will not apply if they have already completed all degree requirements.
MAP Grant recipients must enroll in a minimum of 15 credit hours during the semester.
