Segesta

After learning how wind power works, we went to see where the wind blows. First destination: Segesta with its stunning archaeological site. We were let inside the majestic temple, where Nuccia told us about the people who erected it, the Elimi, and all its history from the origins to the present day. At the moment the temple is decorated with an original art installation, a colorful strip of cloth, made by some women from nearby Calatafimi, using upcycled material (tablecloths, sheets, curtains) and symbolizing peace, an embrace among people from all the corners of the world.
