On our first day in Alcamo, teachers and students were greeted by the school community and the headteacher and so activities started. The students from all the partner countries presented their schools and home-towns with the aid of technology and their enthusiasm. Gifts were exchanged and then we went around the IIS G. Ferro School to have a good look at the green measures and furnishings that were introduced thanks to our TTAG Erasmus project. Among the new equipments, the pedal-powered Christmas tree and the compost basket were particularly appreciated. Then the students were asked to shoot some videos with their comments on the Erasmus exchange, what it meant to them and how/if it changed their attitudes, practices, culture, way of life and mentality. They shot the video with their partners and even had a nice time as well as a good afterthought.
