TOURNAMENT PREPARATION CHECKLIST

 Invite: 6 weeks prior

1. Send email to Andrew Grover agrover@icsz.ch so that your tournament registration can go on the SGIS website.  http://www.sgischools.com/sport/events.htm

2. Make sure that you clearly indicate the level of the tournament.  For example, Category A or B.

3. Include an estimate of the cost for the tournament.

4. Include hotel information (if applicable).

Deadline: 4 Weeks prior

1. Highly recommended to send out a reminder email to all schools reminding them of the deadline.

2. Send a rough draft with a start time and end time to the schools who have registered.

3. Remind the schools to send in their rosters 3 days prior to the tournament.  The roster form can be found on the SGIS website.

4. Remind the coaches/Athletic Directors if the roster has not been received 3 days before the tournament.

Schedule: 2 Weeks prior

• Cost of the Tournament

• Referees

• Medals

• Food

• First Aid

• Facility rental (if applicable)

• Extra cleaning (if applicable)

• Transportation (if applicable)

Invoices: sent out within 3-5 weeks after the tournament

Tournament Report: sent to Ivan Tcherepov agrover@icsz.ch  SGIS Sports Chair 2 weeks after the tournament.
