Requirements 

• • Must enjoy being around kids! You should love teaching, being outdoors, and children. 

  • Science background is preferred, but not required, as we will train you how to teach our program's lessons. 

  • Teaching experience is also preferred, and can be formal or informal education experience. 

Job Description

• • You will sign up for programs and dates you are available to teach (see sign up form below)

  • You will work with small groups of students from 2nd through 8th grade in the field in all kinds of weather

  • You will teach science lessons to students based on what you sign up for, and the curriculum and training supplied

We provide:

• • Training for each grade level and lesson (mandatory)

  • A $100/day stipend for the days you teach in the field

  • Transportation to the field sites from Bishop

  • Mileage reimbursement round trip from Bishop to the field sites if we need extra drivers
