AI, or artificial intelligence, is a computer performing “intelligent” tasks such as recognizing things, understanding them, and making decisions (predictions) about them.
AI uses datasets & learning algorithms to make predictions.
Generative AI is artificial intelligence that can generate media like text, images, audio, video, code, or simulations. The text or media generated is also considered predictions, based on the context of a human prompt.
It’s not going away.
There are clear risks and benefits to both students and teachers.
It can potentially disrupt how society functions and how different industries (like education) work.
It’s changing & developing at a rapid pace.
