Morning Dropoff and Dismissal Procedures
Morning Dropoff:
Gate 1 - open to all ES families dropping off students by car or walking in
EY Gate (Gate 4 enter- Gate 5 exit)- Open for EY families and their siblings droping of by car
Gate 4 -Ppedestrian parents going to the Gojo only- (No student pedestrian entry)
Gate 5- Pedestrian entrance
Gate 6- Anyone (car drop off or pedestrian)
Families are welcome to walk their children to the hubs.
Pickup/ Dismissal:
Students being picked up will be dismissed from their hub. This covers all grades from EY3 to G5. Parents or caregivers must come to the hub to pick up their child starting at 3:20 PM.
Parents and caregivers are not allowed to be at the hubs until 3:15, as that will be distracting to learning in the hubs. Parents/ Caregivers can wait until that time by the cafeteria or the Gojo.
Locations for pick up:
EY3 - outside the gated area
EY4 - outside the chained area
EY5 - Hub doors facing the EY playground
G1 - At the top of the grand stairs
G2 - Rear hub entrance
G3 - The space opposite the playground in between the two G3 doors
G4 - Landing space outside of the two G4 doors
G5 - Rear hub entrance
Students who have not been picked up by 3:40 PM will be accompanied by a hub adult to the ES roof. They will wait there under staff supervision until they are picked up. Note that students are expected to be picked up promptly after school.
Students going to After School Activities (ASAs) will continue to be dismissed from the Lower Commons area by their ASA leaders.
Students who take buses will be accompanied by a hub adult to the parking lot and then handed off to the bus drivers.
