School engages in a continuous improvement process for STEM
Baldwin County adopted a plan for continuous improvement using the Leader in Me Measurable Results Analysis (MRA) and Scantron Analytics. The MRA is administered every spring to students, staff, and parents to assess the effectiveness of schools in the areas of leadership, culture, and academics.
Scantron Analytics is a program to give local education agencies a comprehensive assessment of student achievement. Scantron Analytics allows us to view students' achievement in Performance Series, grades, attendance, and discipline. Our problem solving teams and STEAM leadership teams review student data monthly to assess our STEAM program effectiveness student learning outcomes.
Standard 15, Concept 1: School/program engages in a research-based process for continuous improvment that involves establishing strategic vision and STEM goals, as well as planning for implementing, monitoring, and adjusting STEM initiatives.
Professional Learning Communites
Our Professional Learning Communities are instrumental in allowing teachers time to collaborate where they review data, collaborate, and engage in meaningful professional development. It gives them time to unpack resources and plan for continuous growth and depth in our STEAM program.
Response to Instruction meetings are held monthly to discuss data on students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction.
Standard 15, Concept 2: School/program engages in a process for strategic resource management to ensure that there are adequate resources and supports for the full implementation of the STEM program.
