Most of your time and energy will be spent working on your own transformation case, guided by challenges and inspiration from coaches and speakers.
In this group of 4-7 people you will get feedback, support and work on challenges together. You have been invited to a Slack Channel for your pod group.
This is the full participant group. We meet every week for live sessions and transformers roundtable sessions. You will read and give feedback on others' assignments and interact on Slack.
WEDNESDAYS
@ 15:00 CEST
The whole group will meet every Tuesday for a 90-minute live session. The theme will be different each time but be ready to dive in and be active!
DEADLINES VARY
Each week you will also give feedback on the work of others and receive feedback on your own work. A great deal of the learning will happen in the work you’ll do together with your peers.
THURSDAYS TIME TBD
You meet with your pod once per week to share, exchange feedback or work together on tasks.
RIDAYS @ 15:00 CEST
On Fridays we invite Driving Transformation alumni or friends of Hyper Island for an open-format roundtable where you can share challenges, hear stories and exchange experiences. Each session is inspired by the module theme of the week. Learn from those who have been through transformation!
YOUR OWN TIME
Each week there will be tasks that you will be expected to complete either individually or together with your pod.
YOUR OWN TIME
Each week, there will be a set of reflection questions, tailored to the main themes of the module. Your task is to take some time to reflect on those questions and write down your biggest insights and learnings. This is a way to help crystallise your learning and promote peer learning.
DEADLINES VARY
Every week you will submit your delivery for the weekly tasks on Slack.
To complete the course and receive your Certificate of Completion you need to finish and submit all of the work asked of you. A delivery tracker will be shared at the start of each week to help you keep track of where you are up to and what is still outstanding.
Driving Transformation is not a traditional training program. It’s designed using an action-learning approach that will have you learning through experimentation and doing. Each participant's experience will be different. The program will offer a range of perspectives, case studies, and principles for you to explore and apply in your own context – with yourself and within your organisation. Therefore we encourage you to practise and dare doing over thinking.
The upcoming six week will be intense. We trust that you will set your own limits and level of ambition, that being said - not delivering your challenges in time will impact other participants, and the learning in this program comes from the doing. We will do everything we possibly can to support you.
It’s a good idea to schedule time for recovery throughout the program, ask for help from your family and friends to not overbook yourself.
Throughout the course, we’ll ask you to share your experiences and learnings on Slack. We think the more you share the better. You’ll receive more useful feedback and have richer discussions. But we appreciate that some information might be sensitive. It’s up to you to draw your own boundaries with regard to confidentiality.
Additionally, we ask that you never share the words, ideas, materials of other participants without expressed permission.
The challenges, content and live sessions have been developed for you and participants in this program, therefore we ask that you not duplicate or share these resources outside of the program. That said, we encourage you to share your own experience and your learnings. Also feel free to share our externally published tools and articles as you wish (such as the toolbox.hyperisland.com).

WEDNESDAY: The weekly live session happens from 15:00 -16:30 CEST
THURSDAY: Call with your pod at the suggested time of 15:00 CEST

If you are new to Slack, here’s a short guide to help you get started, and this guide explains the different ways of communicating in Slack.
Note: Only participants of the program and members of the program team from Hyper Island will be able to access the information shared within Slack.
We find the desktop and mobile apps really useful, but you can also just use it in your browser. We recommend you to keep it open all the time.
We suggest customising your notification settings to fit your preferences.
Choose open channels over private Direct Messages when having conversations, all to support the learning of each other!
Feel free to create and join #channels on themes you’d like to explore further and invite your peers and Hyper Island team.
If you want someone’s attention make sure you mention them in your post. Slack may be so busy with conversations and chatter that we won’t be able to read it all.
Download the Zoom app here. On most computers it will download and open instantly the first time you join a call. Make sure it is set-up especially if you are using a highly secured corporate computer. If you want to join using a mobile device, make sure you have a few minutes to download the app ahead of time.
The sessions will be recorded in case you need to miss one.
You will have to download a software to join the call, it’s a good idea to try it out before the first session. Here is a guide on how to join a meeting.
Plan your time so that you can be undisturbed during the live sessions. It’s the most fun if everyone can join with their camera and audio throughout the session.
If you have connection issues we suggest that you join with video through your laptop and audio through your phone.
