Composing music
If you use iMovie for creating your film , you can use Garage Band to compose a new piece of original music you could include in the film. By composing a song in Garage Band you will avoid any problems with the copyright of music in your film!

Coding a quiz in Scratch
Your learners can code a quiz about a famous Welsh actor/actress using Scratch by following the steps in the presentation 'Creative Coding with Scratch - session 4'.
Light sensing investigation
Your learners can code the Micro:bit into a light sensor to see which use lets the most/least light through.
Playing a famous film song
Your learners can code the Micro:bit to play a song from a famous movie e.g. a Mission Impossible song etc.
Cracking the code
Search in the cells within the spreadsheet named for letters that will create words related to film making. .
Going to the cinema
Use the information from the cinema website and Excel formulas to calculate the cost of a various amounts of tickets.
The 10 highest grossing films of all time!
You can add the data from the posters to a spreadsheet and then proceed to graph the information as a bar graph. Formulas could then be used to find out what is the maximum , minimum , mean of the data. Also a formula could be used to find out the total money in dollars spent on the 10 most popular movies of all time.
