Know the difference between a physical and a chemical change.
Be able to draw the arrangement of particles in solids, liquids and gases.
Know the names of the changes of state.

Chemical reactions are changes where a new substance has formed; they are permanent changes because it cannot change back. If no new substance has been formed but there has still been a change (e.g. shape, state) then we have a physical change; these changes are reversible.
