School Improvement

At Maendy Primary School, we have identified three areas of priority for the 25-26 academic year: Health, Well-being and Equity; Teaching and Learning; and Leadership. Within these three areas of priority are a number of key objectives which we will be developing within school, and for some of these objectives we will be working alongside the whole school community and/or external partners.

Each year, schools in Wales receive Pupil Development Grants and are required to plan how their grants will be used. Schools must  focus on the key areas set out in the PDG guidance, with a focus on high quality learning and teaching, and Community Focused Schools. The PDG statement above sets out how Maendy Primary School plan to use grants this year and how they relate to the key areas within the guidance.
