There are lots of different pants in the story. We can use adjectives (describing words ) to describe how they look.

Could you list two or three adjectives to describe each pair of pants in the table below? There are some adjectives below to help, if required.

2. Have you ever seen somebody that is feeling sad? How did you know they were feeling sad? What did you do?

3. Can you recall a time when you felt sad? What did you do?

4. How does the child feel by the end of the story?

5. Do you like this story? Why?
