Term 3
Term 3
After a term of raised expectations, new learning, physical changes to the school building and new staff appointments, I am, as always, incredibly proud of all of the hard work and dedication your children and the staff across the school have shown.
Simply by looking at the class pages across the school, you can see the exciting learning and wonderful outcomes that have been produced.
Looking at the Star of the Week and Star of the Term pages, I am sure you are as impressed as I am of all of the pupils named and for the reasons why; we truly are priveleged to get to spend our days with your amazing children.
With much more agreeable weather over the past few weeks, the building project seems to be gathering more traction day-on-day! The flooring for the ground floor is now complete and the first floor is very nearly ready too; it will not be long until the roof is on and the walls will be being built!
Please see the pictures below which show the progress since my last bulletin.
Next term, the first two weeks' Theme of the Fortnight will be, "How to put things right" and will focus on conflict resolution and management. We know that this is often something that children find difficult so feel that with a new term and a fresh start, this should be our area of focus. You could help prepare your children for tackling this subject with us by introducing them to this poster:
