MNVA uses curricula provided by K12. As MNVA is a public school in Minnesota, MNVA must allign to Minnesota standards. There may be content that teachers provide in addition to the K12 content to meet the Minnesota standards.

How are courses determined?
Elementary and/or Middle School:
Students will be assigned to coursework specific to grade level
If your elementary or middle school student was in an advanced level course at his/her most recent school, please contact your student's MNVA school counselor. Previous school records will be reviewed. Course-specific teachers and/or administration may also be involved to determine course placement at MNVA. Please keep in mind that schools may call courses by different names.
