Here, we have active Voice, Guitar, and Concert Band Programs. Don’t forget to check out our extras like the SMC Singers and our extracurricular Concert Band! We have a blast together.

In Grade Nine, students only have the choice of taking Instrumental Music. It’s no mistake, trust us! You get the chance to learn an instrument you NEVER thought you would try; flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, tuba, and all sorts of different percussion items. You will be taught from the ground up and will learn to read, write, and (of course) play music. We are a loud, proud group and grow together. Our final mission is always to participate in an end of term concert that we use as a fundraiser to keep the music program going. Yes, family and friends are invited to celebrate your musical achievements. Nerves will never turn into such a rush and you are guaranteed to get addicted to performing. It will help you for any other music courses you take in grades 10-12. To find out more about each stream of music, please visit the pages below!
