T. Calvano

Mrs. Calvano has been teaching dance for 17 years. She began dancing at the young age of three and developed an instant love for the art form. Mrs. Calvano studied ballet/pointe, jazz, lyrical, and tap at Kiana School of Dance Arts in Sault Ste. Marie from 1981-1997. She received her dance teaching certification through The British Association of Teachers of Dance in 2003. Mrs. Calvano now leads the dance program at St. Mary’s College, sharing her passion with students daily. In addition to teaching grades 9, 10 and 11 dance classes, she also is the teacher mentor for the very successful St. Mary’s College Dance Team. Mrs. Calvano is very excited to continue to share her enthusiasm for dance with all current and future students of St. Mary’s College.
