Róna Sámuel, born: Rosenfeld (Halas, Pest-Pilis-Solt County, April 1, 1857 – Budapest, February 15, 1910) doctor of medicine, university honorary professor.

HIS LIFE

He was born as the son of merchant and landowner Ignác Rosenfeld and Mária Práger. He completed his medical studies at the University of Budapest, where he received his doctorate in medicine in 1881 and then changed his family name from Rosenfeld to Róna. In the same year, he was an intern for teacher Kaposi in Vienna. In 1882-85, he worked as an assistant physician at the Rókus Hospital in Budapest. In 1886, he visited the special clinics and departments in Vienna, Prague, Berlin and Hamburg; In 1891, the cities of Leipzig, in 1894, the cities of Goroszló, Rome and Naples. In November 1886, together with several colleagues, he founded the public dispensary for poor patients in Budapest, where he headed the department for leprosy, dermatology and male urology. In December 1887, the capital II. was appointed doctor of the acute infectious disease department. In 1889, he was habilitated as a private teacher of dermatology and bujaxology at the University of Budapest. In May 1893, after being released from the II. from the management of the Acute Infectious Diseases Department, he was appointed chief physician for the newly organized bujax disease department at the capital's branch hospital. On September 11, 1899, he received the title of public extraordinary teacher at the university. He was then the chief physician of the Szent István hospital.

His wife was Ida Mahler (1863–1945), the daughter of Simon Mahler (1835–1881), a recluse, and Mária Böhm (1838–1919), whom he married on September 12, 1886 in Budapest.
