Working originally published in 1972 is Studs Terkel's documentary masterpiece, collecting interviews and testimonies from workers across the United States. 

This year our Acting class used this source material to create character portraits for our first presentation. The actors' goals were to find connections to these characters, and to breathe life into their words. We explored Uta Hagen's approach to Acting to help create truthful performances.
